Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to assist in carrying out maintenance processes across the community under supervision. You will perform routine, preventive, and cosmetic maintenance with a focus on cleanliness and safety, including make-ready work as required.

The role requires daily on-site presence, strong customer service, and basic computer skills. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to ensure timely responses and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community grounds, buildings, breezeways, and common areas.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Assist in preventative maintenance to extend property life and reduce future repairs.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager in safety and policy compliance.
• Participate in unit inspections and on-call emergencies as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and uphold a positive image of the community.
