Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to assist with maintenance tasks and daily upkeep of the property under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. This role requires regular on-site presence and a focus on safety and timely responses to service requests.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, grounds upkeep, and assisting with make-ready tasks while upholding company standards and resident satisfaction. This is a full-time on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks and assist in routine and cosmetic maintenance.
• Attend on-site regularly as part of maintenance operations.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure repairs and replacements are completed promptly.
• Maintain a safe, organized maintenance shop and follow OSHA guidelines.
• Assist in preventive maintenance programs to extend community life.
• Support Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager in daily tasks.
• Participate in on-call emergencies at the community.
