Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to assist in maintenance across the community. Regular on-site presence, performing cleaning and general upkeep, with responsiveness to resident requests and work orders.

The role includes assisting in make-ready, following safety guidelines, and supporting the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. Strong communication and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance tasks including corrective, preventative, routine and cosmetic maintenance.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Assist in make-ready process to meet property objectives under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organized maintenance shop and follow safety standards.
• Participate in on-call emergency at the community.
• Enhance customer and resident relations and uphold a positive image of the community.
