Job summary

JES Holdings, including Fairway Management (FWM), seeks maintenance professionals to care for over 230 apartment communities and rental subdivisions. You will handle work orders, unit turns, and preventative maintenance while ensuring safety, curb appeal, and resident satisfaction.

Applicants should have 2–3 years in multifamily/commercial maintenance, be able to lift 55 lbs, and work outdoors in all weather. On-site role with potential travel for regional training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily resident work orders.
• Be available for on call after hours.
• Must have applicable maintenance tools.
• Conduct unit turns in a timely manner including painting, carpet cleaning, and general unit cleaning as needed.
• Preform quarterly preventative maintenance checks.
• Must be able to lift up to 55lbs.
• Must be able to work in enclosed spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
• Must be willing to assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks.
• Must be able to pick up supplies from area vendors as needed while legally operating a registered and properly insured vehicle.
• Reports to Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent for all delegated tasks.
• Travel to, and participate in, both regional and corporate training and/or conferences as required.
• Be alert to any emergencies, suspicious persons or events and notify appropriate staff.
• Assist with maintaining exceptional curb appeal.
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with residents, vendors, and other staff members.
• Make the manager aware of any health and safety concerns on site.
