Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance across the community under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

You will assist with make-ready tasks, scheduling repairs, and maintaining a clean, organized maintenance shop while adhering to safety standards and OSHA guidelines. On-call emergencies are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident and management work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
• Maintain community and units, including repairs and cosmetic maintenance.
• Assist with scheduling and performance of maintenance/repair-related turn events.
• Assist in daily exterior maintenance of grounds, breezeways and common areas.
• Perform pool maintenance and maintain chemical logs.
• Inspect grounds and facilities to identify hazardous conditions.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program to extend life of community.
