Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Make Ready technician to support maintenance operations at our communities. The role focuses on preparing units to meet quality standards, performing repairs, painting, appliance installation, and ensuring safety during turnover.

Responsibilities include responding to work orders, maintaining the maintenance shop, and supporting the Maintenance Supervisor with preventative tasks and inventory management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must have basic computer skills and ability to use on-site software.
• Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in making ready units to meet property standards before new residents move in.
• Repair or replace fixtures, paint, install appliances, and check plumbing/electrical systems as needed.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Maintain safety standards and keep a clean, organized maintenance shop.
• Maintain preventative maintenance programs and inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Assist in coordination of maintenance/repair-related turn events.
