Job summary

Asset Living is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Houston to handle on-site maintenance across our community. You will perform corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic tasks, assist with make-ready, and support the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. On-call duties and safety compliance are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance processes for the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Assist with make-ready processes under supervision.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and community features daily to identify hazards and ensure safety.
• Maintain preventative maintenance programs and accurate maintenance records.
