Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Charlotte, NC to support maintenance, preventative tasks, and cosmetic work across properties. Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, you will participate in make-ready processes and daily site upkeep.

The role emphasizes safety, OSHA and Fair Housing compliance, timely service responses, and accurate record-keeping, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive total rewards package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
• Assist with the scheduling and performance of all maintenance/repair-related turn events.
• Assist in the daily clean up of the exterior of the community, including grounds, breezeways, and all common areas.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and cleaning and maintain accurate, timely chemical logs.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify hazards.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program that extends the life of the community.
