Job summary

Greystar in Glendale, CA is seeking a skilled Service Technician who will maintain buildings, grounds, and common areas to meet safety and quality standards. The role involves completing work orders, preventive maintenance, and inspections, with weekend availability and on-call rotations.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of maintenance experience, familiarity with Yardi or similar systems, and EPA refrigerant certifications.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience completing apartment turns, service requests, preventive maintenance, and property inspections.
• Prior experience with Yardi or similar systems preferred.
• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Tracks inventory and procures materials; coordinates with maintenance supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service activities accurately for tracking and records.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; assists with cleaning and minor painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts when possible and using tools properly.
