Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the physical aspects of the property meet safety, cleanliness, and functional standards. The role involves maintenance of units, common areas, and amenities, with a schedule Tue-Sat, 8am–5pm, and on-call responsibilities.

Requirements include 1–2 years of experience, EPA refrigerant certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1-2 Years of maintenance experience.
• EPA Type I/II/Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacants for leasing via make-ready and punch lists.
• Manages materials, inventory, and tool usage per policy and safety standards.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-saving measures by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
