Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in Fullerton, CA to maintain property systems, conduct preventative maintenance, and support make-ready efforts for vacant units.

Required 1–2 years of maintenance experience, with knowledge of appliances, plumbing, and AC. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required. On-call and weekend shifts are expected. Housing discount is available for onsite staff.

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1/II or Universal required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on property.”

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance per policy and safety standards.
• Executes make-ready process for vacant units and coordinates with vendors for needed repairs.
• Manages materials/stock by tracking usage and re-ordering as needed.
• Documents service activities timely and accurately for resident records.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and minor painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when feasible.
