Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and service property buildings, grounds, and amenities at a Fairfield, CA community. Youll diagnose defects, perform repairs, and complete make-ready tasks for new move-ins, ensuring safety and compliance with policies.

The role requires 1–2 years of maintenance experience, EPA refrigerant certifications, and a valid driver’s license for on-site operations. Regular on-call duties and a strong safety focus are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience.
• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1, II, or Universal.

Responsibilities

• Handle work orders from residents and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant units and coordinate with vendors.
• Manage materials and inventory, track usage, and inform supervisor on restocking needs.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Assist with grounds, common areas, and amenity maintenance.
• Support cost-saving practices by repairing rather than replacing parts.
