Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet standards for safety, cleanliness and functionality. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage make-ready tasks for new move-ins on a tight schedule.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification required.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and code requirements.
• Completes make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling, and sourcing materials.
• Tracks materials, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor for re-ordering as needed.
• Documents service requests accurately to enable proper tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and amenities, performs cleaning, painting, and upkeep as required.
• Supports cost-control by fixing parts when possible and using tools and materials efficiently.
