Job summary

Opaa! Food Management is seeking on-call kitchen staff to support serving lines, basic food prep, and dish/area maintenance. The role emphasizes food safety, proper temperatures, and hospitality in a school or cafeteria setting.

Responsibilities include equipment operation, inventory handling, and assisting with daily production to meet menu plans. This position offers structured shifts and adherence to HHFKA-related guidelines while supporting multiple sites across states.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure all food is held at required temperatures.
• Assist in preparation of foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan and prep for next day menus.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Maintain FIFO inventory, keep cooler/storage racks clean, and restock serving areas.
• Prepare baked goods as required and present to customers with quality presentation.
