Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking dependable kitchen staff for on-call coverage across our locations. This role supports serving lines, food preparation, and daily kitchen operations within a fast-paced cafeteria setting.

Responsibilities include food production, line setup, equipment use, sanitation, and basic administrative tasks such as cash handling and timekeeping. Pay rates vary by state and position, and no fixed schedule is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or up to one month related experience or training.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure food is held at proper temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu and Opaa! recipes, and plan ahead for next-day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and adhere to FIFO.
• Handle customer monies at service time and run a cash register or POS.
