Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. seeks kitchen staff to support serving lines, food preparation, and clean operations. Staff will ensure foods are held at required temperatures and assist with daily prep according to menu plans and Opaa! recipes.

The role requires basic math, ability to read simple instructions, and adherence to HACCP and safety procedures. Flexibility to work as needed across shifts in a busy school cafeteria environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure food is held at the proper temperatures.
• Prepare foods according to the menu plan and Opaa! recipes.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain FIFO inventory and clean work areas.
• Follow HACCP processes and daily logs.
