Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen staff to support daily meal service across our campuses.

The role requires following the menu plan, preparing foods, operating equipment, and maintaining clean work areas. The position emphasizes adherence to safety, HACCP, and quality standards while demonstrating hospitality and teamwork. Applicants should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 60 pounds occasionally, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and ensure proper food temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes, and plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work spaces and FIFO inventory.
• Support dishwashing and kitchen cleaning; ensure supplies and food presentation meet standards.
• Handle cash or POS as required and complete daily paperwork and meal reconciliation.
