Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. seeks on-call kitchen staff to support serving lines, food prep, and cleaning duties across multiple locations.

Positions involve preparing foods per menu plans, maintaining proper temperatures, and rotating stock using FIFO practices. Applicants should be able to operate kitchen equipment with proper certification, assist in daily production, and uphold safety and presentation standards in a busy school or cafeteria environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements including rate, ratio and percent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure foods are held at required temperatures.
• Prepare foods according to menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan and prep ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; maintain FIFO inventory and clean storage areas.
• Serve items with appropriate portions and presentation; maintain food quality and hospitality.
