Amentum is hiring a Biometric Technician (On-Call) in Santa Rosa, CA to support USCIS ASC operations. The role involves biometrics processing, crowd control, and customer service for applicants and visitors.

This casual on-call position requires flexibility across five weekdays with shifts 7:45am–4:15pm, offering SCA-based compensation and fringe benefits. On-call status means hours are not guaranteed and compensation includes health/welfare considerations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Ability to stand upright on one’s feet for scheduled shift duration.
• Ability to hold and grasp applicant’s hands to obtain quality fingerprints.
• Ability to type and use basic computer skills.
• Successful completion of the biometrics training and become certified within sixty days.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration to the United States.
• Ensure all who enter the ASC are approved applicants and visitors while providing crowd control and assisting staff in enforcing ASC rules.
• Provide front-line customer service as representatives of Amentum and the U.S. Government.
• Perform quality biometrics processing including fingerprints, photographs, and signatures within processing times.
• Screen applicants to ensure valid appointment notices and identification for entry.
