Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Biometric Technician to support USCIS ASC operations in San Jose, CA. This on-call role involves processing biometrics, handling crowd control, and ensuring applicants meet entry requirements.

The position requires a high school diploma, English language proficiency, and training in biometrics within 60 days. Shifts are Monday–Friday 7:45am–4:15pm as needed, with no guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Ability to stand upright for scheduled shift duration.
• Successful completion of biometrics training within sixty days.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration, including fingerprints, photographs and signatures.
• Screen applicants for valid appointment notices and IDs for ASC entry.
• Provide front-line customer service and maintain visitor control as needed.
