Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Biometric Technician in Alexandria, VA to support USCIS ASC operations. The role focuses on biometrics registration, crowd control, and delivering frontline customer service in a government setting.

As an on-call casual position under the Service Contract Act, hours are not guaranteed and flexibility is essential. Candidates must meet credentialing, language, and training requirements and be prepared for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain facility credentials; US citizenship required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Ability to stand for the scheduled shift.
• Ability to hold and grasp applicant's hands for fingerprints.
• Ability to type and use basic computer skills.
• Successful completion of biometrics training within sixty days.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration.
• Provide front-line customer service as representatives of Amentum and the U.S. Government.
• Ensure entrants are approved and manage crowd control per ASC policies.
• Assist Site Supervisor and government officers as needed.
• Maintain visitor logs and administrative paperwork with accuracy.
