Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Leader in Maplewood, MN to support the Store Manager in daily operations and SOP adherence. You will coach the team on customer experiences and selling techniques, while ensuring smooth POS/Self-Checkout transactions and omni-channel service.

This role requires 3+ years of retail leadership and a commitment to compliance and safety. You will cover MOD duties, help drive sales, oversee events and in-store programs, and uphold strong asset protection

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of store policies and standards, maintaining conditions and results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain operational continuity.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout systems to support transactions and customer service.
• Promote and enroll customers in the Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention.
