Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an experienced engineer to manage, plan, and implement Off Site Manufacturing (OSM), offsite construction, and prefabrication solutions across xPL Offsite. The role provides preconstruction support and resources for implementing OSM solutions.

Responsibilities include leading design and construction teams, performing cost analyses, applying DFMA principles, and coordinating with vendors to optimize schedules and logistics for Denver-area projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in building, offsite, or prefab construction, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Thorough knowledge of emerging construction technologies and applications in cost, scheduling, estimating, and coordination principles.
• Knowledgeable about BIM and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical implementation of Off Site Manufacturing (OSM) for project engagements, guiding design and construction teams to identify best offsite applications.
• Perform detailed analysis related to architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection systems to support OSM strategy.
• Guide project teams on constructability and sequencing, perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis, and assess vendor options.
• Develop and apply DFMA approaches to prefabricated designs and material selections.
• Review designs against AHJ requirements, contracts, and schedules to support OSM implementation.
• Collaborate with design teams to plan manufacturing, delivery, and assembly phases for offsite construction.
• Establish project controls for schedule, labor, cost estimation, and OSM vendor options.
