Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Guest Service Supervisor to oversee checkout operations and deliver the fastest, most pleasant guest experience possible.

You will handle sales, cash and invoicing processes, prepare cash reports, manage cashier performance, and maintain front-end schedules to sustain the No Noticeable Wait policy.

This role requires teamwork, reliability, the ability to lift 25 lb, and strong math and computer skills to support daily store operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bank deposits according to policy.
• Handle and oversee cashier-related activities and payroll checks.
• Ensure accurate daily cash count and cash office security.
• Monitor and analyze cashier reports and perform till audits.
• Maintain daily front-end schedule to ensure guest service levels.
• Process guest orders to support No Noticeable Wait.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Overview

To supervise and provide every guest with the fastest and most pleasant checkout experience possible through consistent execution of Lowes Foods’ Guest Service Standards. Perform all functions associated with sales related assets.

Responsibilities

1. Sales, Cash and Invoice Accounting
   1. a. Prepare weekly cash report and accompanying documentation.
   2. b. Maintain sales related information.
   3. c. Process invoices and transfers as assigned.
   4. d. Process beer/wine payments.
2. Cash Related Activities
   1. a. Prepare bank deposits according to policy.
   2. b. Handle and oversee activities to support cashier (retail verification, loans, pick-ups, etc.)
   3. c. Handle payroll check approval/cashing according to company policy.
   4. d. Ensure that an accurate daily cash count is completed.
   5. e. Process guest needs such as money orders, stamps, lottery tickets, etc.
   6. f. Process returned checks according to policy.
3. Cash Office Security
   1. a. Ensure the security of the cash office and store funds.
   2. b. Maintain accountability standards of cashier tills.
   3. c. Maintain supplies needed for front end and cash office.
4. Cashier/Guest Service Clerk Performance Reports
   1. a. Monitor and analyze the Operator Activity Report.
   2. b. Perform surprise cashier till audits, detail tape audits, and accuracy checks according to policy.
   3. c. Maintain daily front-end schedule to ensure proper guest service level throughout the day.
5. Process guest orders as needed to ensure the No Noticeable Wait policy is followed and consistently implemented.
6. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
