Job summary
ABB is hiring an OEM Business Development Manager for Industrial Machinery in the United States. This remote role requires 50-75% travel to key customer accounts and focuses on new business development with OEMs across ABB's Motion Drive Products, including drives and automation solutions.
The ideal candidate has 8+ years in OEM sales, strong knowledge of VFDs, micro drives, PLCs, and HMIs, and proven success in competitive industrial markets.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant OEM business development or sales experience in drives, motors, automation, or related industrial solutions.
- Experience with ABB or comparable portfolios including VFDs, automation solutions, micro drives, PLCs, and HMIs.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business development and solution sales for ABB's Motion Drive Products portfolio with OEMs in industrial machinery segments.
- Develop and execute 1-3 year growth strategies for targeted OEM accounts and expand ABB's share of wallet.
- Own account planning, pipeline development, forecasting, and CRM execution in Salesforce.
- Monitor industry trends and translate market needs into actionable growth plans.
