Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking an OEM Business Development Manager for Industrial Machinery. This remote role in the United States focuses on driving new business with OEMs in the industrial machinery market, including drives and automation solutions.

You will develop and execute multi-year growth strategies, manage account planning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to win new business. 50-75% travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in OEM Sales or industrial markets.
• Proven success in hunting new business and growing revenue.
• Experience with VFDs, automation solutions, micro drives, PLCs, and HMIs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development and solution sales for ABB's Motion Drive Products portfolio with OEMs in industrial machinery segments.
• Develop and execute 1-3 year growth strategies for targeted OEM accounts and map decision-makers.
• Own account planning, pipeline development, forecasting, and CRM execution in Salesforce.
• Monitor industry trends and translate market needs into actionable growth plans.
