Job summary

SunSource is seeking an experienced OEM Account Manager to grow key OEM relationships across Eastern Nebraska. You will apply mobile hydraulics and fluid power expertise to identify customer needs and deliver engineered solutions, while building lasting partnerships with OEM teams.

The role emphasizes consultative selling, territory expansion, and collaboration with engineering and service groups to drive results and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales experience selling mobile hydraulics, fluid power, or engineered solutions to OEM manufacturers.
• Strong knowledge of mobile hydraulic systems and components.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships and grow sales.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage key OEM accounts in Eastern Nebraska.
• Develop new business opportunities within the territory.
• Build relationships with OEM engineering, purchasing, operations, and leadership teams.
• Identify customer needs and recommend engineered fluid power solutions.
• Prospect for new business through visits, referrals, cold calls, and technical presentations.
• Travel throughout the territory, including overnight travel as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering, customer service, and technical teams to deliver solutions.
• Maintain territory activity, opportunities, and forecasts in CRM.
