Job summary

SunSource seeks an experienced OEM Account Manager to grow key OEM relationships across the Eastern Nebraska territory. You will leverage mobile hydraulics and fluid power expertise to identify customer needs and deliver engineered solutions, while developing new business through visits, referrals, and technical presentations.

This role requires 2+ years in outside sales for mobile hydraulics, and a technical or engineering background is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales experience selling mobile hydraulics or engineered solutions to OEMs.
• Strong knowledge of mobile hydraulic systems and components (pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hoses).
• Experience with technical sales, product application support, troubleshooting, or engineered solutions.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships and grow sales.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Valid driver''s license and willingness to travel across the territory.
• Technical or engineering degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Fluid Power Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage key OEM accounts while developing new opportunities.
• Build relationships with OEM engineering, purchasing, operations, and leadership teams.
• Apply mobile hydraulic and fluid power expertise to identify needs and propose engineered solutions.
• Prospect for new business through visits, referrals, cold calling, and technical presentations.
• Collaborate with engineering, customer service, and technical teams to develop solutions.
• Maintain territory activity, opportunities, and forecasts in CRM.
• Stay current on mobile hydraulic technologies and market trends.
