Job summary

Hayward Flow Control is seeking a driven OEM Account Manager to lead growth across the West Coast. You will target strategic OEMs across industrial, water/wastewater, chemical processing and life sciences, building lasting relationships and delivering technical solutions.

You will own the full sales cycle, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and travel 30–50% to customer sites and trade shows. A background in engineering and 5+ years in technical sales is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field with emphasis in materials science or fluid dynamics.
• 5+ years of successful technical sales or account management in the flow control, fluid handling, piping systems, or industrial equipment sectors.
• Strong ability to travel 30–50% and manage OEM accounts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target new OEM customers across industrial, water/wastewater, chemical processing, and life sciences sectors.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed targets and grow market share.
• Manage full sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.
• Upsell and cross-sell within existing portfolio to maximize revenue.
• Act as technical consultant on thermoplastic valves, piping systems, actuation, and flow control.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams to define system requirements and tailor solutions.
