Job summary

SunSource is seeking an experienced OEM Account Manager to grow key OEM relationships across Iowa. The role focuses on mobile hydraulics, fluid power, and engineered solutions for OEM manufacturers, with travel within the territory and a consultative sales approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years outside sales experience selling mobile hydraulics, fluid power, and OEM solutions to manufacturers.
• Strong knowledge of mobile hydraulic systems and components.
• Experience with technical sales, product application support, troubleshooting, or engineered solutions.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage key OEM accounts within the Iowa territory.
• Build relationships with OEM engineering, purchasing, operations, and leadership teams.
• Apply mobile hydraulic and fluid power expertise to identify customer needs and recommend engineered solutions.
• Prospect for new business through customer visits, networking, referrals, and technical presentations.
• Partner with engineering, customer service, and technical teams to develop customer solutions.
• Manage territory activity, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM and other sales tools.
• Stay current on mobile hydraulic technologies, applications, and market trends.
