Job summary

Nippon Express USA, a leading logistics provider, seeks an Ocean Operations Associate to support import/export shipments from our New Jersey facility. You will perform essential warehouse and shipment tasks ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities include creating shipment references, coordinating import shipments, arranging export bookings, issuing invoices, AES filings, and supporting sales with quotations. The role requires flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience considered.
• Some computer skills including data entry and maintenance.
• Desirable knowledge of Import/Export computer applications.
• Familiarity with international trade terms and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import shipment arrangements and create shipment references.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices upon completion of import arrangements.
• Arrange export bookings based on customer requests and issue confirmations.
• Coordinate cargo pickups and AES filings.
• Support sales with quotations and assist in revenue/profit goals.
