Nippon Express USA, Philadelphia Branch, is seeking an Ocean Operations Senior Operations Agent in Sharon Hill, PA. The role focuses on coordinating ocean shipments, preparing export/import documents, and ensuring accurate invoicing and data entry.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in ocean freight forwarding, familiarity with B/L and INCO terms, and strong communication and organizational skills. The position reports to the Philadelphia Ocean Department Manager and involves coordinating with

Qualifications

• 2+ years in ocean freight forwarding (preferred).
• Experience with FCL/LCL ocean cargo documentation (preferred).
• Experience with steamship lines' Bill of Lading and INCO terms (preferred).
• Experience with Ocean accounting (preferred).
• Strong PC skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint; AS400 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Identify, organize and coordinate customer shipping requirements.
• Prepare ocean export invoices and import documents for distribution to Brokers.
• Prepare invoices and entry in AS400; manage shipment documentation.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery orders with steamship lines, trucking, rail, and warehouse.
• Provide rates to customers and interact with internal departments to service clients.
• Account management, shipment tracking and reporting.
