Job summary

Nippon Express USA is seeking an experienced Ocean Export Coordinator to manage end-to-end ocean export operations, customer communications, and documentation. The role involves coordinating daily shipments, issuing invoices, and collaborating with warehouses and teams to ensure smooth processes.

The position emphasizes strong problem-solving abilities, attention to SOPs, and proficiency in Word and Excel. DG certification is preferred but not required, and the environment may require flexible

Qualifications

• Experienced in all aspects of Ocean Export coordination (monitoring, dispatching, invoicing).
• Knowledge of EEI and NVOCC / Non-NVOCC.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to problem-solve.
• Flexible with hours.
• Diligent in following SOPs.
• Word, Excel skills.
• DG certified preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service / Service Quality
• Coordination of daily shipments (documentation, arranging pickup, communicate with carriers, etc.)
• Billing functions
• Develop and maintain collaboration in a cooperative and respectful manner with all levels of staff
• ISO Internal Audit
• Special duties may be assigned based on the needs of management. Your future assignments will depend on the needs of the department, your performance and capabilities.
