Job summary

FNS, Inc. is seeking an experienced Ocean Import Coordinator in Ridgefield Park, NJ. You will manage the full cycle of ocean import shipments, prepare documentation for customs clearance, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires fluent Korean and English, 2+ years in ocean import operations, and strong MS Office skills. You will collaborate with carriers, brokers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Fluency in Korean and English is required.
• 2+ years of experience in ocean import operations or international freight forwarding preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ocean freight documentation, Incoterms, and customs processes preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the full cycle of ocean import shipments from origin to final destination.
• Prepare and review import documentation for customs clearance.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. CBP, FMC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with ocean carriers, customs brokers, overseas agents, and internal departments.
• Track, trace, and monitor shipment and delivery progress to ensure timely processing.
• Issue delivery orders and coordinate final-mile delivery with trucking companies.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and tracking data in the internal system.
