Ascension's Pediatric Rehabilitation Clinic is hiring an Occupational Therapist to design and implement pediatric care plans, document progress, and lead a team of therapy assistants. You will adapt treatments based on patient response and educate families for home transitions.

Qualifications

• BLS within 1 month of hire date (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• OT credential issued by Indiana OT Committee prior to hire; temporary permit allowed with boards within 4 months.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctorate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design personalized care plans and deliver evidence-based treatments, documenting milestones for care-team alignment.
• Adapt treatment strategies in real-time based on patient progress and response.
• Educate families and prepare transitions home with equipment training and support resources.
• Guide and supervise therapy assistants and technicians to uphold safety and regulatory standards.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Design personalized care plans and deliver evidence-based therapeutic treatments and interventions, documenting every milestone to ensure the entire care team is aligned on the patientâs progress.
• Adapt and evolve treatment strategies in real-time based on the patient's physical and emotional response to therapy.
• Prepare patients and their families for a successful transition home by providing clear education, equipment training, and connections to support programs.
• Guide and supervise the clinical work of therapy assistants and technicians to maintain the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Occupational Therapy (OT) credentialed from the Indiana Occupational Therapy Committee prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Or Temporary Permit obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. If hired with Temporary Permit, must pass boards and obtain Occupational Therapy (OT) credential within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
