How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Design and execute tailored recovery plans: Assess patients' independent living skills to create, implement, and adjust individualized treatment strategies using appropriate clinical modalities.
• Empower patients and families: Educate individuals and caregivers on managing functional limitations, navigating discharge transitions, and safely using adaptive equipment and community support resources.
• Maintain clinical quality and compliance: Document patient milestones precisely while overseeing Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and therapy techs to ensure seamless, compliant care delivery.
• Drive collaborative care transitions: Consult regularly with the broader healthcare team to continuously evaluate progress, refine care plans, and ensure safe, timely discharges from therapy services.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Occupational Therapy (OT) credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
