Responsibilities

• Greets patients, performs patient registration, verifies insurance information and collects co-pays and balances.
• Answers phone and schedules appointments.
• Coordinates scheduling of outside testing for patients.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and supports patient safety.
• Completes daily reconciliation to ensure charges are entered correctly.
• Files test results and prepares charts for next-day appointments.
• Responds to medical record requests per protocol.
