Job summary

Woods & Co Recruitment has partnered with a globally recognized architectural manufacturing company to expand its U.S. presence in New York.

The Architectural Sales Representative will drive specification sales by engaging architects, designers, and contractors on major commercial projects. You'll develop strong client relationships, manage a robust project pipeline in Salesforce, and collaborate with estimating and technical teams to deliver compelling proposals.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction documentation.
• Experience in specification sales, construction sales, or architectural products.
• Willingness to travel within the New York region for client meetings and project visits.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive specification sales by ensuring products are selected during the design phase of major construction projects.
• Develop and manage relationships with architects, specifiers, contractors, and project stakeholders across your region.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through meetings, presentations, and industry networking.
• Manage and maintain a strong pipeline of projects using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
• Collaborate with internal estimating and technical teams to produce project proposals and pricing.
• Review architectural drawings and project documentation to identify specification opportunities.
