TZ Recruiting is seeking an Architectural Sales Representative for a leading building materials manufacturer in the San Francisco area. You will cultivate relationships with architects, interior designers, and design firms to influence specifications on high-profile commercial and residential projects.

The role emphasizes presenting product solutions, growing a robust project pipeline, and traveling across the territory to meet clients and attend events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably selling building materials, architectural products, or design-related products to architects and/or interior designers.
• Proven ability to generate new business and influence product specifications.
• Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and opportunities simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel throughout the territory with occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with architects, interior designers, design firms, and other industry influencers.
• Identify new projects and business opportunities throughout the San Francisco market.
• Work with designers to understand project requirements and recommend appropriate product solutions.
• Drive product specifications on commercial, multifamily, and residential projects.
• Conduct product presentations, lunches-and-learns, educational sessions, and other A&D events.
• Manage projects and opportunities from initial specification through completion.
• Build and maintain a strong project pipeline and consistently achieve sales and activity goals.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and design-community events.
• Maintain sales activity, project opportunities, and forecasts within the CRM.
