Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Kentucky seeks an experienced Scheduling Coordinator to assist the Director of Nursing with planning, organizing, and directing the nursing service schedule across the campus, ensuring staffing aligns with guidelines and patient needs.

The role involves creating a four-week master schedule, managing PTO/leave, and coordinating shift trades, while providing onboarding support and occasional direct patient care in Assisted Living and Memory Care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE required.
• Previous scheduling experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Creates the campus four-week Master set schedule and posts schedule.
• Makes staffing adjustments according to budget, census, calls-offs and planned leave.
• Manages PTO requests, holiday rotations, and shift trades.
• Generates necessary postings and monthly schedules.
• Manages nursing hours (PPD) and staff ratio to census.
• Manages Time and Attendance, attendance points, buy-backs, and shift incentives.
• Uses Smartlinx for posting/filling open shifts and employee messaging.
• Meets new employees to review schedule and onboarding needs.
• Provide direct patient care as needed in Assisted Living and AL Memory Care.
