Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Lowell, Indiana, is seeking an experienced scheduling professional for the Nursing Service department. This role plans, organizes, and directs the master schedule for all nursing staff, ensuring coverage in line with regulatory guidelines and patient needs.

You will post schedules, adjust staffing to budget and census changes, coordinate PTO and holidays, and oversee time and attendance. Onboarding and direct patient care may be required within licensure scope.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• 1-3 Years of relevant experience preferred.
• Candidates should have a current valid CNA, QMA, LPN or RN credential; non-clinical candidates may be considered with appropriate experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates the campus four-week Master set schedule and posts it according to policy.
• Makes staffing adjustments based on budget, census, calls-offs, and leave.
• Manages PTO requests, holiday rotations, and shift trades.
• Generates postings such as daily assignment sheets and monthly schedules.
• Manages nursing hours and staff-to-census ratio.
• Oversees Time and Attendance, including attendance points and shift buy-backs.
• Uses Smartlinx for posting and filling open shifts and employee messaging.
• Ensures onboarding scheduling meet new employee needs and schedules.
• Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of license.
