Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an onsite Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner who mentors caregivers and preceptors, supports orientation, and coordinates ongoing education. Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited institution (degree verification required).
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS Certification for healthcare providers.
• Experience in adult or staff development.
• Demonstrated nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource and mentor to caregivers and preceptors, guiding orientation and ongoing learning.
• Collaborate across the organization to identify learning needs and promote evidence-based practices.
• Provide coaching to preceptors and caregivers to support professional growth.
• Facilitate interprofessional learning and advancements in nursing practice.
• Promote inquiry and sharing of new knowledge to guide clinical nursing practice.
• Advocate for the NPD specialty and integrate NPD principles to improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions for new and existing staff.
