Job summary

The NPD Practitioner collaborates across care areas, coaches caregivers and preceptors, and champions evidence-based nursing practices to enhance patient outcomes and clinical education initiatives.

Qualifications

• BSN in nursing from an accredited program.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Experience in adult or staff development.
• RN nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Learning Facilitator: guide caregiver orientation and ongoing learning using standardized tools.
• Change Agent: align learning with goals, priority initiatives, and evidence-based practices.
• Mentor: coach preceptors and caregivers for personal and professional growth.
• Leader: advance interprofessional learning and nursing practice within care teams.
• Advocate for NPD: promote value of the specialty in patient care and development.
• Partner for Practice Transition: support new practices and smooth orientation.
