Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an onsite Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner to lead caregiver education, orientation, and ongoing learning. The role supports self-reliance, teamwork, and clinical coaching across care sites.

The NPD Practitioner designs education using adult learning principles and collaborates with teams to meet learning goals and implement new initiatives.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited institution; degree verification required.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS Certification for healthcare providers.
• Experience in adult or staff development.
• Demonstrated nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as learning facilitator and mentor to caregivers and preceptors.
• Collaborate to identify learning needs and design education using adult learning principles.
• Coach and mentor clinical coaches and caregivers for ongoing development.
• Foster interprofessional learning and advancement in nursing practice.
• Promote inquiry and evidence-based practice to improve patient care.
