Intermountain Health is seeking an onsite Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner to guide caregiver orientation and ongoing learning, align with program-specific goals, and support self-development. Travel to multiple locations may be required.

The role emphasizes learning facilitation, change management, mentoring, and interprofessional collaboration to advance nursing practice and patient outcomes within the care site.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited institution (degree verification required).
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS Certification for healthcare providers.
• Experience in adult or staff development.
• Nursing professional development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as resource, consultant, and mentor to caregivers and preceptors promoting self-reliance and teamwork.
• Collaborate with colleagues to understand goals, priorities, and learning needs for care areas and ensure adoption of evidence-based practices.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to preceptors and caregivers for learning and growth.
• Facilitate interprofessional learning and advancements in nursing practice.
• Foster knowledge sharing and evidence-based practice to improve patient care.
• Promote the value and integration of NPD principles across the organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions for new and existing caregivers.
