Job summary

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Bridgeton, MO, is seeking a Nursing Supervisor — Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our inpatient nursing team on the day shift. This full-time role directs nursing staff, provides patient care oversight, and collaborates with the Chief Nursing Officer to uphold care standards.

We offer a competitive hourly rate ($44.50–$60.30) based on experience plus a $20,000 sign-on bonus with no commitment/repayment.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License required.
• BLS required at hire.
• ACLX certification within first 6 months of hire/promotion into Nursing Supervisor position.

Responsibilities

• Direct assigned nursing personnel, serving as a resource person and consultant.
• Provide and oversee nursing care, implement hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives.
• Maintain approved standards of patient care, collaborate for continuity of care under the Chief Nursing Officer.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
• Interpretation of assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.

Responsibilities

Maintain approved standards of patient care, collaborate with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.

• Together we will help our patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Instructing and counseling patients/families.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.
• Certified ACLX required within first 6 months of hire/promotion into Nursing Supervisor position.

Preferred qualifications:

• Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• One more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
• CRRN preferred
