Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an onsite Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner to guide caregiver orientation, ongoing learning, and clinical coaching. The role emphasizes educational design, adult learning principles, and collaboration across care areas to promote self-reliance and patient outcomes.

Travel to various locations may be required. The NPD Practitioner will lead orientation, coaching, and interprofessional learning to advance nursing practice and ensure seamless

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers is required.
• Demonstrated experience in adult or staff development is expected.
• Demonstrated nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource, consultant, and mentor to caregivers and preceptors.
• Collaborate to understand learning goals and ensure adoption of evidence-based practices.
• Provide coaching and mentoring for staff development and clinical coaches.
• Lead interprofessional learning and advocate for NPD specialty.
• Foster inquiry and sharing of new knowledge to advance nursing practice.
• Promote transitions for new and existing caregivers and smooth adoption of new practices.
• Coordinate orientation and ongoing education across care sites.
