Job summary

Medical City Heart and Spine seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures under the supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician. You will handle radiopharmaceuticals, operate specialized cameras, and adhere to safety protocols.

The role requires certification and licensure in Nuclear Medicine, with a Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule in a full-time capacity. Comprehensive benefits and a strong organizational commitment to patient care are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine or equivalent.
• MTR State of Texas licensure.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification required; NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current BLS provider; ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Under guidance of Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with independence and professional judgment.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice and ensure radiation safety.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment; assist in patient care as needed.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
