Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our team for a full-time, dayshift position. The role involves performing general radiographic procedures under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine physician, handling radiopharmaceuticals, and using varied Nuclear Medicine equipment to support accurate diagnostics.

The ideal candidate will hold a Texas MTR license, ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification, and current BLS/ACLS credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine preferred
• MTR State of Texas
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification
• NMTCB PET certification preferred
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider
• ACLS provider within 6 months of hire or transfer

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs general radiographic procedures
• Performs tests in-patients and out-patients and utilizes Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice
• Demonstrates proficiency in radiation safety
• Other duties as assigned
