Job summary

Medical City Heart and Spine in Texas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician for a full-time, weekday schedule (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM). You will work under a Nuclear Medicine Physician performing radiographic procedures and isotope applications to support diagnosis.

The role requires TX licensure and ARRT/NMTCB certification with BLS; ACLS within 6 months is expected. The hospital network offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited Nuclear Medicine program preferred.
• MTR Texas license required for practice.
• AR RT (NM) or NMTCB certification is required.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• BLS certification required with ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform general radiographic procedures as appropriate.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with independent judgment and initiative.
• Conduct in-patient and out-patient tests using Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Maintain radiation safety and follow department protocols.
